Contemporary Vintage
The vintage look with a modern twist is the choice of many brides at the moment and we have created many complimentary designs around this theme, these are just a few of them.

Isabel - this design features the popular bow and brooch decoration. Delicately decorated tiers incorporating some fine piping and lace trim. Flowers could be added to the top tier to complete the look.

Lissy
- elegant and sophisticated, this new design incorporates an exquisite hand-painted bottom tier teamed with vintage style lace and pearls

Imogen - another design with a beautiful ribbon bow and brooch as the focal point, this includes sugar flower corsages and is displayed on a pedestal stand which is also popular with this type of design.

Alice - dusky pink and ivory is always a favourite colour combination but this design with the candy striped bottom tier and a classy flat bow can easily be adapted to any colour scheme.

Bernice - vintage styled weddings tend to incorporate lots of flowers and a spiral cascade with pearls incorporated gives this new design the wow-factor.

Carrie - a very pretty design incorporating a very popular colour scheme this year of sage green and pale pink. Each tier decorated differently and finished with a posy of large open pale pink roses.

Erin - another variation on the vintage theme incorporating shades of ivory and mink which is a popular colour scheme at the moment - although all designs can be adapted to suit your wedding themes.

Antonia - simple and stylish, this contemporary stacked square design would grace any vintage or modern style wedding reception

Rachel - the bow and brooch detail is often seen on round cake but this design shows it works equally well on square cakes and in any colour scheme.

Ada - simple and elegant, just a delicate piped design around the sides and corsages of sugar roses make this design a timeless classic.

Bonnie - pretty and pink, this design includes alternate patterned tiers with sugar flower corsages and butterflies.

Stella - another new design incorporating a little 'bling' to go with the contemporary look of a stacked square cake with sugar flower spray on top.

Evie - the white piped detail over an ivory base icing incorporated in this design gives it a delicate and pretty feel.

Elise - the contemporary vintage feel works with any colour scheme and there are lots of different styles of tier decoration that can be incorporated.

Floral Focus
Flowers are the choice for many brides and these can either be exquisite hand-made sugar flowers or fresh flowers which match the rest of the bridal themes. We are happy to work with your choice of florist to create a cake adorned with fresh flowers or provide them with the cake if required.

Mia - a minimalist design incorporating square cakes with block separators and glass separating the tiers. Finished with a flowing spray of fresh calla lilies and grasses. Click here to see how well this design works with other types of flowers.

Camilla - a classic contemporary design of a square cake with vertical line piping around the sides, 'blocked' with fresh 'avalanche' roses and finished with a small posy on the top tier.

Rosa - incorporating large elegant sugar roses and some flowing petals, this design is fast becoming a best seller.

Phoebe - although this cake looks gorgeous in the cheerful yellow colour scheme this pretty design would work with any colour scheme. Another favourite new design.

Kayla - simply decorated square tiers separated by clear block separators gives a clean look to this cake which is set off with sprays of, in this case, plum coloured calla lilies with grasses.

Kimberley - fresh and pretty with a cascade of roses and small flowers with tiny sugar butterflies, this is a classic floral look on a contemporary stacked cake.

Harriet - four round tiers stacked with an elegant 'fabric' effect swag from top to bottom and dramatic sprays of large red roses make up this stunning design. Click on the photograph to see another version in a different colour scheme.

Fleur - the ultimate floral cascade from the top of this 5 tier stacked cake right to the base board, this design is a centrepiece guaranteed to wow your guests.

Selina - contemporary heart shaped cakes displayed on an offset stand finished with simple straight displays of calla lilies give this design it's smooth lines and modern look.

Carmel - stacked tiers with pretty scroll piped detail, ribbon and pearl trim which can be in any colour scheme. Finished off with sprays of sugar flowers including grasses threaded with pearls for a truly elegant effect.

Bo - the look of the tiers blocked with fresh roses so popular at the moment and this design includes some simple dot piping and a jaunty bow on the top for a slightly less formal feel.

Love Birds - the side decoration on this design mimics the feel of the couple's stationery design complete with the love bird motif. Finished with simple fresh flower corsages

Lavinia - a classic styled cake which was ordered for a formal black tie wedding reception at the gorgeous venue of Highclere Castle – aka Downtown Abbey!

Lucy - Simple square stacked design with simple pink ribbon bands and scattered sugar Phalaenopsis Orchids matched the brides choice of flowers and wedding theme perfectly.

Annabel - a combination of part stacked and pillared cakes gives height to this design which is decorated with fabric effect swags and long sprays of sugar flowers. Click on the photograph to see another version in a different colour scheme.

Colourful Creations
As a company we do not have a signature style or theme, we like to create something different and if you're not afraid of incorporating colour into your cake design, neither are we!

Amelia - each tier is decorated differently resulting in a vintage style with a fun modern look incorporating the wedding colour scheme and flower theme.
|
Meadow - modern and funky with polka dots and stylised flowers. Simple and fun this works in any colour scheme and is a good choice for the budget conscious.
|
Kirsten - purple themes are currently very popular and we used two shades in this design. Click here to see a 3 tier version and the monogram detail incorporated in the side design

Katie - pale blue and white is a classic colour combination and this delicate design inspired by a Spode vase includes clever use of decorated separators to make a simple 3 tier cake look amazing.

Vicky - the red and ivory of this design creates such a great contrast and teamed with a personalised topper this design is modern and fun.
|
Brigitte - if you are going for a striking colour scheme it can be incorporated into your cake very effectively using contrasting coloured tiers and decoration.

Hydrangea - Pale blue and ivory again plus a gorgeous bow and sparkly brooch and hydrangeas which are very popular at the moment in bridal flowers – a super summery design.

Francesca - another example of how easy it is to bring in a vibrant colour with the use of ribbons. This also had a diamante theme in keeping with the theme of the day.

Dorney - This certainly has colour! Three shades of teal blue and vertical stripes which fitted in very will with the reception held at the Olympic rowing venue – Dorney Lake.

May - a bright, modern fun design incorporating a personalised topper with hearts and lots of diamante bling. Displayed to great effect using acrylic separators and base stand all filled with matching rose petals.

Lilia - Dramatic and very chic, black and white is currently a popular choice for weddings. This design incorporates plain and highly decorated tiers with accents of silver to catch the light. Click on the photograph to see what happens when a touch of hot pink is added.

Yetunde - a very simple cake with striking ribbon trim and bright orange sugar calla lilies which are also displayed inside the cake stand.

Mandy - a simple concept with twisted tiers and criss-cross ribbons turns into a cake with contrast which would work with any colour scheme. Another stunning design for those on a budget.

Francine - spots and tiny roses with a large bow make up this quirky and colourful design.

Hester - bold contrasting colours, sugar flower sprays, cris-cross ribbons and butterflies – there's a lot going on but with tiers displayed separately on an offset stand this design comes together to great effect.

Diamante - more and more brides are choosing black and white for their wedding colour sheme. This design incorporates the monochrome look plus added bling! This could easily be adapted to round cakes or a stacked style.

Simply Elegant
There are lots of very decorative designs displayed above but for some less is more and these designs are simple but still make a stylish centrepiece.

Pearl - a simple stack of square cakes with a twist. literally! Incorporating a very fashionable colour scheme at the moment although the ribbon colours can be changed and diamante could replace the pearl trim. The offset flower on the dark base board makes this design just a little bit different!

Megan - simple and pretty, this three tier cake has the tiers all decorated slightly differently incorporating tiny flowers and pearly dots. This design can be adapted to any colour combination but looks perfect with shades of pink and lilac.

Magnolia - table cakes are something different, smaller tiered cakes which are used as centrepieces either along with or instead of flowers is definitely something different and would create a real talking point at your wedding.

Julie - cake jewellery is a different way to decorate your cake to create a simple but stylish look. We can also offer more unusual types of ribbons to add to the design without adding to the price!

Belle - what can be more simple than a completely white cake, simple satin ribbon bands and fluffy stylised roses are the only decoration on this modern design.
|
Tulip - stacked heart shaped cakes with small blossom flower detail and stylised tulip arrangement on the top tier – something very different.
|
Adele - although quite detailed the all-white tiers with stylish bow and topper makes an elegant simple design with just a touch of colour used for the separators.
|
Kate - tiers mounted on glass sheets has proved a very popular design feature and is incorporated in this design with stacked tiers and a top tier which reflected both the wedding colour scheme and a favourite of the bride.

Something Different

Martina - Planning a Winter wedding? This snowflake covered modern design is perfect for your wedding in the winter months and also incorporates the latest look with bow and brooch trim. Click on the picture to see a 4 tier version of this design.

Ingrid - crisp and white and glistening like real snowflakes and snowballs the decorations on this flower pot shaped cake make this another perfect design for your Winter wedding.

Gabrielle - this 4 tier stacked cake really has the wow factor. Incorporating opulent gold side designs with just a few well placed roses and gold butterflies to finish it off.

Bunting - we're seeing more and more country fair and English country garden themed weddings and this type of design makes a perfect centrepiece for that type of day.

Dot - fun and funky stacked cakes decorated with dots and bows. Shown in chocolate brown and pink which is currently a very popular colour combination but this would work well in any colour scheme.
|
Unity - the Bride was from England and the groom from the USA and they had an English country garden themed wedding so bunting incorporating the flags and daisies seemed an obvious choice.
|
Cindy - a cute little design that will appeal to those with a sweet tooth! Decorated with 'love heart' sweets and a pastel coloured wired heart topper finished with personalised figures of bride and groom ( and in this case bridesmaids too!). This will work equally well with 3 or more tiers.

Personalised Topper - if you keep the cake design simple you can go to town with the topper! This one included a horse in a stable and an ice hockey playing groom – totally personal for this couple.
